Birchbit Inc.
It is a combined name of "Birch" as in birch trees
and "bit" which represents the smallest unit of data
handled by a computer.
Birch trees that are commonly seen
in Hokkaido are a plant that can survive
in difficult growing conditions.
Bearing this in mind, we have our thoughts
in its name with the passion
to provide content that develops skills to
"survive difficult times" in this VUCA world.
Also, the word "bit" is added for us
to keep bearing the lates technologies in mind
to apply to the world in the best possible way.

Hiroyuki Tanaka
田中大幸
Born in Hiroshima Prefecture, he graduated from the University of Kent in the UK (Bachelor of Linguistics) and the University of Kent Graduate School (Master of Applied Linguistics). He worked on the analysis and research of voice and gestures. Since his return to Japan, he has worked both in the education and AI industries. He primarily worked on conversational AI and search AI products at different companies: a US startup, the Rakuten Group, and TikTok (Bytedance). As an AI product manager, he worked on the MVP of a multilingual video training solution supporting multiple industries at a startup (Bespoke) in Shibuya. Then, he founded Birchbit, Inc. in 2026.
As he also obtained CELTA in the UK in 2013 and has experience teaching academic English and drama at local educational institutions.

Kazuma Aoi
青井一真
He graduated from Doshisha University's Faculty of Health and Sport Sciences and the Master's Program in Sports Business Management at Sheffield Hallam University Graduate School in the UK . He founded and serves as CEO of From Chef Inc., which is responsible for "social implementation of academic research in the fields of sports and health." In 2023, he gave a presentation at an academic conference on promoting "sports town development" that makes use of the unique sports environment of specific regions. He specialises in "regional research focused on sports" and "research on sports and economic value," as well as development of policy implications based on research findings.

After graduating from the Sheila Elliott Clarke Stage School in Liverpool, England in 1980, he embarked on a career as an actor. He has appeared in numerous West End productions, including The Mousetrap and Me & My Girl, as well as BBC TV shows and films. He has been active in a wide range of entertainment industries, including directing and pantomime. He currently uses his experience to teach performing arts and vocal training to students of various nationalities. His teaching focuses on harnessing the innate human potential (imagination) to improve creativity.

Rieko Tanaka
田中りえ子
Graduated from the School of Marketing and Media at Macquarie University in Australia. After working for KDDI's Australian subsidiary and a trading company, she returned to Japan in 2019. Having contributed to marketing communications and PR coordination for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games at Atos, she also worked for TikTok (ByteDance) Japan for about four years, where she held a middle management position in search AI operations. She is currently the Japan manager for a French startup, leading operations management from 0 to 1. She has experiences of community building and management in multiple cities, partnership management, and the design and implementation of content strategies that lead to increased media exposure and engagement.

本橋恵美
Graduated from Monash University (Malaysia branch) in Australia (majoring in marketing), where she studied value creation and intercultural communication in the multicultural environment of Southeast Asia. After graduating from university, she worked at an American AI startup company for a variety of AI training data collection and annotation projects, as well as for marketing (Japan). She currently works for digital marketing and event marketing at Dataiku Japan, a French AI company. She is experienced in increasing awareness, attracting customers, and building communities, from designing data-driven initiatives to building brand experiences using events.
She is also involved in educational activities related to next-generation entrepreneurship.

Graduated from the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies (International Relations) at the University of Washington, USA. Obtained TESOL certification from INTESOL International in the UK.
DiSC® Trainer, Coach Training Alliance Certified Coach, and holder of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N1 certification. Having started his career in Japan over 30 years ago, he has held leadership and talent development roles in various industries, including e-commerce and IT. He developed and managed leadership programs at QVC Japan and TikTok (ByteDance). Since 2024, he has been running his own professional development program, Communication Makeover.
